Main Guidelines
The International Journal of Language and Linguistics (IJLL) publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed research in linguistics, language studies, applied linguistics, translation studies, discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, language education, and related interdisciplinary fields.
Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts that contribute to theoretical advancement, empirical research, or methodological innovation in language and linguistics.1. Online Manuscript Submission

Before submitting the manuscript, authors must ensure that the following conditions are met:
✔ The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal.
✔ The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), OpenOffice, or RTF format.
✔ URLs or DOIs for references are included where available.
✔ The manuscript text:
Uses 12-point font
Is single-spaced
Uses italics instead of underlining (except for URLs)Figures, tables, and illustrations are embedded within the text at appropriate positions.
✔ The manuscript follows the stylistic and bibliographic requirements described in the Author Guidelines.
Submissions that do not comply with these requirements may be returned to the authors for revision before entering the peer-review process.3. Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should generally include the following sections:

Author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s)
ORCID ID (if available)
Abstract (150–250 words)
Keywords (4–6 keywords)
Introduction

Manuscripts must be written in clear and professional academic English. Authors whose native language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscript language-edited prior to submission.5. Plagiarism Policy
The journal follows strict publication ethics standards.
All submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using Turnitin plagiarism detection software.
Manuscripts must contain original and unpublished work.
The similarity index should generally not exceed acceptable academic limits.
Cases of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or duplicate publication will result in immediate rejection.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources are properly cited and referenced.6. Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.
The review process typically includes:
