The Journal of Language and Literature (JLL Journal) welcomes original, unpublished research articles, reviews, and theoretical papers in the fields of linguistics, literature, translation studies, cultural studies, discourse analysis, and related areas.
1. Language of Publication

Manuscripts are accepted in English and French.

Authors must ensure that submissions are grammatically correct and clear in style. Non-native speakers are encouraged to seek professional language editing prior to submission.
2. Article Types

Research Articles (4,000–7,000 words)
-
Review Articles (up to 5,000 words)
-
Book Reviews (1,000–2,000 words)
-
Theoretical and Conceptual Papers
3. Submission Requirements

All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

Articles should be formatted for A4 paper with:

Margins: 2 cm on all sides
-
Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
-
Spacing: 1.5 line spacing
-
No page numbers or headers/footers
-
4. Structure of the Manuscript
A typical research article should include the following sections:

Title (concise and informative)

Author(s)’ full name(s), affiliation(s), and email address

Abstract (150–250 words) summarizing the aim, methodology, results, and conclusions

Keywords (4–6 keywords)

Introduction
-
Literature Review
-
Methodology
-
Results and Discussion
-
Conclusion
-
References
5. Citations and References
-
Follow the APA Style (7th edition) for in-text citations and reference lists.

Ensure all references cited in the text are listed in the reference section and vice versa.
6. Plagiarism Policy
All submissions are checked for plagiarism using reliable detection software. Manuscripts with over 15% similarity (excluding references) will be rejected without review.
7. Ethical Considerations
Authors must follow ethical guidelines including:

Proper acknowledgment of sources

Avoidance of data fabrication or falsification

Declaration of any conflicts of interest
8. Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers. Authors will receive a decision (accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject) within 4–8 weeks.
9. Publication Fee
The JLL Journal does not charge any submission or publication fees. The journal is fully open access.
